What do I need to register with Police-Training.co.uk?
To register, all you need is a valid e-mail address.
What's the difference between registration and subscription?
Registration is free and provides you with access to sample questions and some
useful study tips. You will also have access to an on-line trainer. To
subscribe, you are asked to pay for access to our comprehensive database of
questions - all written by qualified police trainers.
How do I register?

I have forgotten my username and password. How can I get entry to the system?
Contact Customer Services via this form with your
contact details and we will provide you with your login details.

Your password will then be emailed to you.
I have registered but cannot login. Can you help?
You must click on the activation link that was in the email sent to you when you
registered. This must be done within 10 days of registration. If you have lost
or did not receive the email then please contact Customer Services via
this form.
I registered but have not received any acknowledgement. Will acknowledgement be
provided?
An activation email will be sent to you within 48 hours. If you do not receive
this please check that you correctly entered your email address.
I signed up for an account but I get an error when I click on the activation
link. Can you help?

internet options of your internet browser.
I have my username and password but am still unable to log in. Why is this?
There may be a very simple reason why your log in fails. Please consult our
checklist for possible causes. If you are unable to find the reason here,
please let us know.

Check that you do not have CAPS LOCK on - the password is case sensitive.

When you receive your username and password, copy these from your registration
e-mail and paste them into the required fields to avoid mis-typings.

Make sure your browser allows for cookies
Some users have problems accessing the site because of incorrect browser
settings. The cookie settings on the browser must allow session cookies. You
can check these by clicking on the 'tools' menu item then 'Internet
Options'. Select the 'Privacy' tab, click on the 'Edit' button at the
bottom of the privacy page. Enter '207.45.116.98' in the text field and
click 'Allow'. Repeat this step and add 'www.police-training.co.uk'. Please
consult vendor documentation for instructions on how to change cookie handling
for non-Microsoft browsers.
The only information we hold in the cookie is your current session information
which enables us to check if you have logged in and to validate you as a
genuine user. This cookie is discarded once you navigate away from the page or
if you close the browser.
I have subscribed to Police-Training.co.uk but............
I logged on at work today, but I cannot log on at home. I have followed advice
on enabling cookies, but this still does not work. Can you help?
Please try installing the free Firefox browser
http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/. This should resolve the problems faced
with some 3rd party(AOL, NTL) browsers.
When doing the knowledge check I only have access to an option for 10
questions. Can I have access to larger numbers of questions in knowledge
checks?
The knowledge check is only a 10 question set for a sample account. Once you
have subscribed, login to your account and you will see that there are
knowledge check sets for 10, 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 questions.
What if I lose the connection during a knowledge check?
You will be able to continue with the knowledge check at the point you left it.

When logged in how do I raise a query regarding the system?
Click on the "Helpdesk" link on the right hand side in the top box and you will
be taken to a form on which you can raise your query.
